You Want To Control The Fate Of Your Own Blogs and Your Websites
Lately I’m posting to quite a few blogs to advertise my own website, almost all the blogs on which I chose to work were based on wordpress, its a fact that WordPress is perfect for casual as well as professional bloggers, with the GPL liberal license make the WordPress the fastest growing blogging platform ever.
Lately I figured that I should build my own blogs and promote them, then I can use established and fully owned blogs to advertise other websites, this is not something new, all kinds of blog networks are out there for the exact purpose, anyway those are other people’s asset and I have no control, and I have no way to post to those blogs, its easy to understand that the price on those networks won’t be cheap.
Its a tedious job to maintain more than a few blogs, if you’re not using your blogs as spamming device, the real content writing is time and money consuming, you have to put in time and money to build a successful blog. Check out a couple of interesting blogs, let’s examine this one, High Quality Sling, the domain name is pretty good, and there are a lot of interesting articles on it, though its not a theme focused blog, almost any interesting posts get posted on it. One more example, Truck Straps with Winches, this one has main theme, all posts are following the same theme, and ranks well for quite a few keywords. I can show you a lot more sites, but you should already see the point. Last but not least, you should build some casual blogs, do some casual postings randomly, take one blog as example, Feng Shui Expert, doing this right you will have a natural blogging networks.
If you have a few established blogs already, add more blogs when you can, the old blogs will be helpful in promoting your newly built ones, this way you get your little blog network rolling. It sounds pretty simple, but the real stuff will be more complicated, one of the most important things is that don’t get your site black listed by major search engines.
